In addition to the "Taxi Crab" you can combine dinner at a local institution with saving money...there is a Holiday Inn within walking distance of the ballpark, and they have a restaurant called "Benny The Bum's". I'm not exactly sure how it works because I haven't tried it, but I think if you spend $40 at the restaurant they will validate your parking voucher and you can park for free. Check it out.

Guests at the Holiday Inn get to park for free (one car per room), and it's the perfect location if you're visiting Philadelphia. After reading some reviews though, the only thing most people like about this hotel is the location!

As far as where to sit, if you're the partying sort, you might want to sit down the left field line, because that's where McFadden's is and many will be heading there after the game with few other bars nearby. Sitting there will give you an edge on getting a seat.

Update:

Benny The Bum's is closed for renovation in 2010. Currently Holiday Inn charges $20 for parking, advertising it as "easy in, easy out". Not worth the price...use the $15 lot next to the NoveCare center on Pattison Avenue. It's the same price as other lots, but a very easy exit. And you need that at CBP.
