ballparksavvy.com in the media
In the summer of 2009, I was featured on Cincinnati's 700 WLW's "Sports Talk with Lance McAlister". Click below to listen to the full interview - not surprisingly the topic was saving money at Great American Ballpark.
Around Opening Day 2012, ballparksavvy.com again came up on the big one with Eddie and Tracy. Here is a short clip where they reference my Red's guide.
Shortly after my 700WLW interview, I received a call from a representative in St. Louis from KMOX. A couple days later I taped an interview with Tom Anckerman for the "Sports Open Line" show.
The podcast never made it to the internet, so I don't know if I made it to the air or if I was such a boring interview that I didn't make the cut.
I would like to think my message went out to the St. Louis area, so I will feature it here.
In March of 2010, the Star Tribune's Howard Sinker mentioned ballparksavvy.com in one of his blog posts about the Twins new Target Field. He said the following:
"And if you're going on a road trip, ballparksavvy.com offers a park-by-park guide to the places you'll be visiting."
Obviously, this guy knows what he is talking about. Therefore, if you need to catch up on Twins baseball; visit his blog here
In July of 2010, ballparksavvy.com was featured on Good Morning Tri-State on WCPO channel 9 in Cincinnati. My 15 seconds of fame, literally, hit the air about 6:45 am. The highlights were in the Money segment, and reminded fans that they should check out this site to save money on their next trip to Great American Ballpark. Thanks channel 9 and a big thanks to award winning producer Nick Helton.
As a follow-up I made my first TV appearance in August of 2010 on the same Good Morning Tri-State. Here is a clip of the interview.
We were also featured in 2012 on a segment of don't waste your money:
If you would like to schedule Jake Cain for an interview, or are looking for a quote in print media on just about any topic; use the contact form and I will get back to you within a couple days. Thanks
