MLB fans might as well buy a second home in Florida because there’s too much to see here for just one trip!
Of course, there’s Tropicana Field, the year-round-domed home of the Tampa Bay Rays, and loanDepot Park, the state-of-the-art home field of the Miami Marlins.
But if you think those two stadiums are the only place to watch Major League Baseball in Florida, we have two words for you: Spring. Training.
Florida’s ballparks are the spring training homes of many teams, from the New York Yankees to the Pittsburgh Pirates and many more. You’ll find plenty of intimate venues to watch Minor League games in the Sunshine State, too.
So, grab your sunglasses and pack your bags- from the start of Spring Training in February to the end of the season in late October, Florida’s ballparks offer game after game for baseball fans to enjoy!
Ballpark of the Palm Beaches
The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is a state-of-the-art baseball stadium located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
This stadium is home to the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals Major League Baseball teams for their annual spring training. As well, it hosts the Gulf Coast League Astros and the Gulf Coast League Nationals of the Rookie-level League.
The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is a modern and spacious stadium that offers fans a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville
The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville is a beautiful stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. It is the home of the Jumbo Shrimp Minor League Baseball team and has been serving the community since 2003.

There is seating available for 8,5000 people – 7,000 fixed seats, which provide a comfortable and intimate viewing experience for fans, and grass berm seating for an additional 1,500 people.
The layout of this stadium provides a great view of the field from every seat. This building is also known to be well-maintained, which will ensure its presence in the Clearwater community for years to come!

CoolToday Park
CoolToday Park is a state-of-the-art baseball stadium located in North Port, Florida. It is the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball and opened its doors on March 24, 2019.
The stadium is situated in the southern portion of Sarasota County, just 35 miles south of Sarasota, Florida. With a seating capacity of over 5,000 fans, CoolToday Park offers a unique and exciting experience for baseball fans of all ages.

Condron Ballpark
Condron Ballpark at Alfred A. McKethan Field is the home field of the Florida Gators baseball team. It replaced the former ballpark, Alfred A. McKethan Stadium at Perry Field, which was the home of Florida baseball from 1988 to 2020.
This new ballpark is located on the University of Florida campus, adjacent to the Katie Seashole Pressly and Dizney Stadiums, used for softball and lacrosse.
Condron Ballpark opened on February 19, 2021, when the Gators hosted Miami in their season opener. The venue is named for the Condron family, whose lead gift helped make this new ballpark possible.
The ballpark’s design takes inspiration from the former McKethan Stadium, including the iconic roof structure and brick façade, paying homage to what came before.
Condron Ballpark has a seating capacity of 7,000 spectators and features modern amenities such as a video board, a LED ribbon board, and a sound system.

Digital Domain Park

Hammond Stadium

Jackie Robinson Ballpark
Jackie Robinson Ballpark, located in Daytona Beach, is a historic stadium with a rich history dating back to 1914.
Originally known as City Island Ball Park, this park consisted of a baseball field and a set of wooden bleachers. Over the years, the stadium has undergone several renovations, with the present-day grandstand and press box being built in 1962.
Today, the stadium is home to two local baseball teams – the Daytona Tortugas and the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats.

Jay Bergman Field
Jay Bergman Field, located in Orlando, is a baseball stadium that serves as the home of the UCF Knights baseball team.
The stadium underwent a two-phase expansion in late 2011, which increased its total capacity from 1,800 to 4,180.
The first phase of the expansion involved the construction of new lower-level bleachers along the first baseline, replacing part of the grass berm.
Additionally, a second level was added above the concourse on the first base side, which accommodates approximately 1,000 additional fans.

JetBlue Park

The naming rights of the stadium were purchased by JetBlue, an airline with major operations at Boston’s Logan International Airport since 2004.

the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida, is a multi-sport facility that underwent a full year of renovations in 2016 and re-opened in 2017. After the renovations, the park, formerly known as the Space Coast Stadium, was renamed to its current title.
This stadium is owned by Brevard County and serves as the home field for the USSSA Pride women’s professional fast-pitch softball team. It has a seating capacity of 8,100 and features 13 diamonds for baseball and softball games.
Before its renovation, the Space Coast Complex served as the spring training facility for Major League Baseball teams such as the Florida Marlins, Montreal Expos, and Washington Nationals. It was also the home field of the Brevard County Manatees.
The stadium’s location in Viera, Florida makes it a popular destination for sports fans and tourists alike, offering a unique blend of sports and recreation in a beautiful setting.
Steinbrenner Field

Much to its credit, the playing surface of Swanson Stadium is considered the best collegiate baseball playing surface in the region, rivaling those of many Major League Baseball spring training complexes in Florida.
TD Ballpark
TD Ballpark is a baseball stadium located in Dunedin, Florida. It is the spring training home of the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB) and is one of the newest ballparks in the league.
This stadium has a seating capacity of over 5,500 fans. It features a state-of-the-art playing field, as well as a number of amenities, including a large concourse, multiple food and beverage options, and a spacious seating area.
This park also features a large video board, which provides fans with a clear view of the action on the field, as well as a number of other modern amenities, such as Wi-Fi and charging stations.
TD Ballpark is known for its unique design, which incorporates elements of the surrounding natural environment, including palm trees and other vegetation.

Tropicana Field

Tropicana Field opened in 1990 and was originally known as the Florida Suncoast Dome. In 1993, the Tampa Bay Lightning moved to the facility and its name was changed to the ThunderDome.
However, the team moved to their new home in downtown Tampa in 1996. In October 1996, Tropicana Products, a fruit juice company then based in nearby Bradenton, signed a 30-year naming rights deal, and the stadium was renamed.
Fun fact: this stadium is the smallest MLB stadium by seating capacity when obstructed-view rows in the uppermost sections are covered with tarps, as they are for most Rays games.
The University of Tampa Baseball Field
The University of Tampa Baseball Field is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a unique blend of comfort and convenience for fans and players alike.

The UT Baseball Field was built in 2006 and has been the site of numerous NCAA Division II South Regionals ever since. It is also the host of the annual Tony Saladino Baseball Tournament for area high schools.

USF Baseball Stadium
The USF Baseball Stadium at Red McEwen Field is a state-of-the-art facility in Tampa, Florida. With a capacity of 3,211 spectators, it is the perfect venue for college baseball games.
The stadium was opened in 2011 and replaced the old Red McEwen Field as the home of the USF Bulls baseball team. It features a 1,500-seat grandstand with a canopy, providing shade and protection from the elements for fans.
In addition, there is a berm that can accommodate over 1,700 additional spectators along each foul line and in left field.
The in-ground dugouts, fan pavilions, press box, batting cages, and giant Daktronics scoreboard all add to the overall experience for fans.
