This stadium was built in 1968 and has a seating capacity of 9,558, making it the oldest and smallest stadium in the Cactus League.

In 2006, the stadium underwent a renovation, which was funded by the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority. This renovation included improvements to the main stadium, the Major League Fields, and the Minor League Complex on site.

The Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority funded $12 million of the renovations, implementing improvements that have made Tempe Diablo a state-of-the-art facility for baseball fans to enjoy!
